Just some bird studies I did for a water color painting I'm going to make as a birthday present for my Mom.I did an image search on google for bird stock photos and started sketching in my ginormous sketchbook just to get the feel of drawing birds realistically. I mainly wanted to draw little birds, but I found this photo of the bird in the lower left picture so amusing I had to draw it. I called it an afro bird, but it came out looking like it got shocked or something. Lol!
